Privacy Policy

• Account details. When you sign up we receive your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, your Google profile name and picture. Passwords are handled by our sign-in provider, Clerk; we never see them.
• What you save. Portfolio holdings (symbol, quantity, cost), your watchlist, saved screens and custom score models are stored against your account so they are there next time you sign in.
• Broker statements you upload. When you import a Robinhood, Groww or other broker file, it is read on our server to draft your holdings. The file itself is not stored; only the positions you choose to save are kept.
• Questions to the assistant. Requests you make to the in-app assistant are processed to answer them. Nothing is saved to your account unless you confirm a change, such as adding a holding.
• Anonymous usage counts. We count which stocks are searched and which comparisons are run, to show popular stocks and recent comparisons. These counts are not linked to you.
• Technical data. Like any website, our hosting and security providers process IP addresses, browser type and request logs to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

• Sign-in cookies set by Clerk keep you signed in. They are strictly necessary for accounts to work.
• Your Investor | Pro choice is remembered in a first-party cookie (qs-experience) for up to a year.
• Preferences in local storage — theme, recent searches, recently viewed stocks, your last screener query and dashboard layout — stay on your device and are never sent to us.

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Clearing your browser data removes everything in this section.

• To run your account and show your portfolio, watchlist and saved work.
• To score and analyse the stocks you hold or look at.
• To keep the service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
• To contact you about your account or important changes to the service. We do not send marketing email without your consent.

We share data only with providers that help us run the service, and only what each needs:

• Clerk — sign-in and account management.
• Google — only if you choose “Continue with Google”.
• Vercel — website hosting.
• MongoDB Atlas — database for your saved holdings, watchlist, screens and models.
• Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare — background processing, file hosting, content delivery and security.
• Financial Modeling Prep — supplies market data. We request data about stocks, never about you.

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the service. If QuantScore is ever sold or merged, this policy will continue to apply to data collected under it.

Account data and what you save are kept while your account is open. When you delete your account, your holdings, watchlist, saved screens and models are deleted within 30 days, except where we must keep something to meet a legal obligation. Server logs kept by our providers are short-lived and rotated automatically.

• Edit or remove holdings, watchlist entries, screens and models at any time in the app.
• Update your name, email or sign-in method from your account menu.
• Ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion of your account by emailing support@quantscore.ai. We reply within 30 days.

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK, the CCPA in California, or India’s DPDP Act), you may have further rights, such as to object to processing or to complain to your local data-protection authority. We honour these requests whichever law applies.

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest with our database and hosting providers, and access is limited to what is needed to run the service. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique sign-in and tell us at support@quantscore.ai if you notice anything suspicious.

Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, they rely on recognised safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

QuantScore is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we will delete the account.

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will tell signed-in users in the app or by email before they take effect.
